Uganda Rotary Union Boss Kayongo Jeff is flying high and praising the Almighty God after Barclays Bank Uganda officially agreed to sponsor his charity programs. The man of God had been hunting for sponsors like crazy to fund several activities of the Rotary Union for the last couple of months until when Barclays Bank came to his rescue.
After holding closed door meetings with Top Barclays Bank bosses they have now agreed to sponsor heart operations for children in Entebbe.
Barclays Bank Boss Bagabo Joseph disclosed that all proceeds from the tournament would go to funding children who need heart Operations at the Mulago Heart Institute.
Though Kayongo declined to disclose the amount of money collected from the tournament he was happy and thanked Barclays Bank for supporting Uganda Rotary Union activities. Meanwhile Entebbe Club will hold a Rotary Golf Tournament to continue supporting needy and suffering children in Uganda.
