Uganda Cranes land invite for CHAN 2021 precursor tourney in Cameroon

Uganda will join CHAN 2021 hosts Cameroon, Niger and Zambia in a 4 nation mini tournament between January 1st to 7th in Yaoundé

In preparation for the 2021 TOTAL Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament in Cameroon, a four nation mini tournament has been planned by the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT).

The three invited countries are Uganda, Niger and Zambia as revealed by the organizers on 10th December 2020.

This tournament will last for one week between 1st and 7th January 2020.

The visiting teams are expected in Yaoundé on December 29, 2020.

Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan McKinstry will name the provisional team of players of this mini tournament.

The 2021 TOTAL CHAN tournament that will take place from January 17 to February 7.

Uganda is caged in Group C alongside Morocco, Togo, and Rwanda.
