Entebbe and Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) have once again shared the spoils in the Uganda Premier League after the two sides played to the same result at the Nelson Mandela Stadium way back in October 2014. Though both sides didn’t see the back of the net Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) proved a better side with two goal attempts from Nicholas Kagaba and Dan Nsubuga who hit the woodwork. Entebbe’s Aloysius Lubega and Allan Kizza had their shots miss narrowly.
SCVU still remains 10th with 29 points while Entebbe gets an additional point and a currently at the bottom of the 16 team log.
Entebbe’s coach, Richard Makumbi still believes they can survive relegation in the remaining 7 games.
We can make it with 5 wins and i believe we shall survive relegation. Today’s game was an opportunity blown to go top, but we shall make it in subsequent fixtures yet to come.
Makumbi told Kawowo sports.
Entebbe FC will be hosted by Simba on April 21 at Bombo Football grounds while SCVU will host KCC FC on April 17 at Namboole.
