Uganda Profesional Pilots Association President Charles Karabarinde has retired from aviation and after 40years of flying.
The celebrated pilot with Uganda Airlines yesterday officially made his last day in the aviation industry with over 21,000 flying hours.
The distinguished and accomplished pilot made is last flight yesterday ,the 16th day of February 2021 a colorful ceremony with media.
“It was mid-day when the CRJ 900 Bombadier 5x-KDP taxi towards the ramp at Entebbe International Airport from Mugadishu”,
The Uganda airline staff alongside family relatives led by his beautiful wife Judith Karabarinde witnessed the last “whistle blow” as Mr Karabarinde made his last flight.
There was excitement at the apron side of the Entebbe International Airport as Pilot Karabarinde made his last flight in CRJ 900 Bombardier 5x-KDP from Mogadishu.
Capt. Charles Karabarinde has been praised for being an outstanding role model who has selflessly mentored many pilots throughout his inaugural aviation journey.
Karabarinde has toured the world and has no regrets admist the challenges and endured with resilience and further appealed the young generation in the aviation industry to consider focusing on prosperity during their time of service.
