Over five hundred traders working in Kitooro market are panicking to be evicted over the graveyards in Entebbe market. This follows after a bloody meeting between the traders and local authorities to relocate the graveyards behind the community hall area. The graveyards of several unidentified persons are set to be exhumed following a meeting with the traders and the market authorities last week. The remains and skeletons of different families are to be exhumed this weekend and relocated to another burial ground. The market boss, Isabirye Marijan confirmed the development to pave way for the construction of the new modern storied market that is set to start on February. The traders have been given a two weeks ultimatum to vacate and relocate to a new market area at the Kiwafu play ground. The matter has sparked a bitter row as traders are pointing fingers at the municipal authorities over cracking a juicy secret deal with unidentified investor.

Meanwhile Dalton Walusimbi Ngubire has penned a letter to Town Clerk Charles Magumba requesting for financial assistance in relocating the six graves to their ancestral burial place which will cost Shs 1,500,000 per grave totaling to Shs 9,000,000. Some of the people who were buried on the piece of land include Maria Mirembe, Walusimbi George, Kigozi Sam, Ntege John, Zawede Maria and Zawede Flora.
According to the letter Dalton Walusimbi indicated that the deceased were buried on the piece of land before the construction of the community centre by his late grandfather Dona Ngubiri Walusimbi.
