A senior government officer is in the spot light after signing the bill board deal in the children’s park in Entebbe. The senior town clerk Charles Magumba is under fire after signing a deal to erect a giant bill board in the children’s play station opposite the division ‘A’ offices.
The senior accounting officer signed the deal with an advertising firm to develop a giant bill board in the kids center after parting ways with councilors and other top authorities including Mayor Vicent Kayanja Depaul .The town clerk fell out with a section of councilors over the development and giant bill board erected by Prime Media in the kids playing area located in the municipality green belt.
The government officer using his office is in the spot light with lots of criticism from concerned residents after okaying the deal in the children’s area without taking into consideration key factors. Maria Assumpta Nakamya attacked the town authorities over row deal to destroy the children’s remaining play area in the heart of the town and strongly condemned the act with mixed feeling.
It’s not yet clear how much the municipal authorities bagged over the deal although we have highly established that some funds were wired on the division account amidst controversy.
