Sports Beach Boss Joseph Obuna is crying crocodile tears and sleeping with a lot of thoughts on his head ever since beaches in Entebbe were closed down by RDC Ian Kyeyune and his assistant RDC Kirabira after over 13 people reportedly drowned during the festive season. To make matters worse two weeks ago Pius Bigirimana the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development extended the ban through a letter dated December 29, 2015 which was copied to the ministry of internal Affairs and Police Force until investigations into the matter are complete. It reads
I hereby prohibit you from undertaking beach activities at the aforementioned premises until investigations are complete and the road map for addressing the direct, root and contributing causes of the accident is clearly drawn.
The poor man has now resorted to spending most of his time flipping through news papers ever since he received the letter. He is fighting tooth and nail to have his facility opened.
