Former Goodlyfe music star Moses Ssekibogo a.k.a Moze Radio was assaulted and killed from a bar in Entebbe. The fallen music star, Moze Radio died after a bloody scuffle with one Wamala Godfrey Troy at De’bar on the 22rd January 2018 .
The police arrested several individuals including the bar owner George Egesa, murder suspect Wamala Troy,Hassan Muwonge,Xavier Rukere and others.
The incidence happened at the bar located in the heart of the town after the music star pouring liquor on the bar owner and other revelers. The suspects were later released after making police statement and left one suspect Troy Wamala jailed at Entebbe police.
The police forwarded the case files to the Resident State Attorney before Entebbe court chief magistrate Mary Kaitesi remanding the killer suspect to Kigo prison. The murder suspect has been remanded for the last one year till high court started hearing his murder case, Thursday 5th September 2019.
Four witnesses including Producer Ebangit Washington, Pamela Musiimire, Hassan Muwonge testified before high court judge Jane Francis Abodo. The deceased’s mother Jane Kasubo broke down to tears before the high court while giving her chilling testimony since the passing on of her son.
Radio was rushed immediately to Emmanuel Medical Centre before being referred to Nsambya and later Case Medical centre where spent a whole week under intensive care. He was laid to rest at Kagga village, Nakawuka off Entebbe road.
The family is not happy about the case the way it’s being handled by court and request President Museveni to intervene for justice
