The Special Forces Command Director for Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) Maj. MacDans Kamugira is not a happy man after he was caned in the just concluded Army Parliamentary polls brain game. The senior government officer narrowly missed out on representing the army in parliament after heated elections that didn’t spare him. He was caned by Generals including Katumba Wamala, Gen. Elly Tumwine, Col. Felix Kulayigye, the chief political commissar UPDF, Maj. Gen. Pecos Kutesa, the chief of military doctrine, Col. Francis Takirwa, the chief of operations UPDF, Lt. Col. Flavia Byekwaso, Lt. Gen. Ivan Koreta and Capt. Evelyn Assimwe, Brigadier Innocent Oula and Capt. Suzan Lakot.
The army top boss was among the 30 UPDF Soldiers who were nominated by the big man and commander-In- Chief of the armed forces Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni after he found no dirty linen to his name.
