SBC Uganda, the main contractor for the construction of Hoima international airport handed over a consignment of Jerseys and Truck suits to Kitara Football Club.
The donation including 35 pieces of Red jerseys, 35 pieces of White jerseys and tracksuits was handed over to Kitara Football Club Management.
The Kitara Football Club management was represented by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Joshua Atugonza, the Kitara FC Vice President in charge of Technical Affairs and the club’s Public Relations Officer Geoffrey Tumwesige.
SBC was represented by SBC operations manager Dotan Hameiri who said the donation is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR).
He pledged more support to the pride of Bunyoro.
Also present was Amos Murisa, the Public Relations Officer of SBC Uganda.
The function was held at Mika Resort Hotel in Hoima City.
Kitara FC has started mobilizing resources to support the team in its 2021/2022 FUFA Big League season.
The team opened its compaign with a 3-2 win against Blacks Power FC yesterday and the team will take on Kyetume FC in Mukono this week.
