
Entebbe Resident District Commissioner, Rosemary Kirabira has bitterly warned residents and fishermen around Bugonga landing site over bedbugs that have invaded the area and giving residents sleepless nights. The RDC warned the residents on Tuesday in a security meeting with residents and local authorities over the deadly bedbugs that have waged a war on residents due to poor hygiene and dirty environment. The RDC warned residents over the sleeping sickness disease outbreak that is likely to claim lots of people’s lives because of ignorance about personal hygiene. The RDC pledged to work hand in hand with the municipal authorities including the town clerk Richard Monday to launch a spraying campaign on the raging tropical parasitic creatures that have infested the whole fisheries landing site area. The RDC advised the fishermen to join the campaign to put a ban on bedbugs from all their hideouts including spraying mattresses and bed flames where they breed from to multiplicity.
The Division ‘A’ Boss Kasule David Wasswa warned the youths to stop wasting their money on betting and boozing up during work. The division boss said that lots of young people spend their time in bars and film halls instead of saving their small pocket change for the something tangible than drinking off their heads and smoking off their lungs with toxic stuff.
