The Entebbe Deputy Resident District Commissioner Rose Nalongo Kirabira last week on Monday stopped all the development on tycoon Joseph Edude’s storied building overlooking the Nakiwogo landing site.
The RDC suspended all the developments after the tycoon erected the storied building in the road reserve and with no approved plan.
The government officer grilled the tycoon for several hours in a heated meeting organized by the angry residents. The tycoon has been building the multi-million storied structure day and night with no approved plan from the municipal Engineer Joseph Mukiibi. The building has been under construction for the last couple of months without the local authorities taking up the matter seriously till the residents reported the matter to the RDC’s office.
