Police in Entebbe is hunting for rowdy councilors that assaulted the Lugonjo Nakiwogo LC 1 Vice Chairman , Paul Bahemuka in a heated meeting early this week. The police is hunting for councilor Juma Mukasa,Bruhan Lumbogo, Kugonza Stephen, Viola Nampijja, Kibirige Tadeo and Micheal Kakembo over assaulting the village chief.
The Lugonjo Police Station O/C, Joseph Mutalya has summoned the accused and given them seven days to report to his office. The accused ganged up and exchanged blows with the village chief in a heated meeting organized by the Entebbe Mayor Vincent Kayanja Depaul. The rowdy councilors attacked the village chief after he attended their meeting without being invited. The vice chairman reported the matter to lugonjo police station under file no. SD. 13/01/09/ 2014.
