    Another round of action in the Pepsi Beach Soccer League got under way on Sunday at Lido Beach with Entebbe based Nkumba Select thrashing Mutesa I Royal University 7-3 in the Hurriken group fixture. Three braces from Nsubuga Daniel, Zirimenya Allan, Somoka Roch and Muganga Douglas’ lone goal handed Nkumba Select a much needed victory. Mutesa I Royal University’s consolation goals came from Rulinda Julius who scored a hat trick.

    Also in the Hurriken group Phillip Lwezawula, Awori David and Kalyowa Emma each scored a goal apiece as St. Lawrence beat Dalumba FC 3-2. Kikonyogo Jonathan and Kamya Nicholas were on the score sheet for Dalumba FC. The match between International University of East Africa (IUEA) and Kampala International University (KIU) didn’t take place as IUEA is yet to make an appearance in the second round. The match between Kayunga Town Council and Braza Braza was postponed though no official communication was issued.

    In the Monsoon Group, Real Galacticos eased passed Zaba Supermarket with a 6-3 comfortable win. Dinho Musa Ssali, Tamale Muzafalu, Kafeero Hamis each scored a goal apiece and Levita John’s hat trick ensured Real Galacticos maintained their winning streak. Stormers also beat Talented FC 4-3, goals came from Katende Misi (2) and Kakwaya Swaibu (2). The consolation goals for Talented FC came from Kayiwa Allan (01), Kabonge Tonny (01) and Kiggundu Ronnie (01).

    Mean while matches between sand pirates Vs Buwanika Bulls and MUBS Vs YMCA were also postponed though no official communication was issued.
