    PEPSI BEACH SOCCER LEAGUE 2014/15 QUARTERFINALS: Nkumba Select to Take On YMCA.

    The quarter finals of the Pepsi Beach Soccer 2014/15 league will get under way ON Sunday may 24 at Lido Beach Entebbe with Nkumba select taking on YMCA at 3pm. Nkumba Select finished third with 22 points in the Hurriken group while YMCA finished second with 27 points.

    “It will be a tricky match but I trust my players. We are ready to take on YMCA, all my players are available and are in great shape” Nkumba Select Manager Isa Asiimwe told entebbenews.

    It will be a repeat of the 2013/14 season finals where Nkumba Select lost to Kira Young 6-5. Kira Young’s disqualification from the 2014/15 league saw all their players join YMCA including Derrick Tekkwo and Ashadu Bugembe.

    High flying monsoon leaders MUBS will take on Kampala International University (KIU) who finished fourth in Hurriken group with 19 points while MUBS finished top with 42 points winning all their fourteen group matches. The match will kick off at 2pm.

    Stormers will take on St. Lawrence University who finished second in the Hurriken Group with 33 points at 4pm and the last quarter final match of the day will see Real Galacticals take on Kayunga Town Council at 5pm.  Real Galacticals finished fourth in the monsoon group with 22 points while Kayunga T/council topped Hurriken group with 33 points.

    The league will climax on June 07 with the semifinals, third place play off and the finals that will be played at 5pm.
