When Pastor Aaron Mutebi rushed his beloved Mother Mama Kyamagero Dezilanta to Entebbe General Hospital a few days ago, his conscious told him that she wouldn’t come back. On Sunday at around 1am, Mama Kyamagero Dezilanta succumbed to multiple organ failure at Entebbe General Hospital where she had been admitted for close to a week. At the time of her demise Mama Dezilanta was on oxygen and life support. At a church service that was held on Tuesday at the Entebbe Miracle Center to celebrate her life, Pastor Aaron Mutebi thanked God for the 85 years God had given his beloved mother.
She has been a courageous woman, a greatest friend of all and my continuous intercessor. The gap she has left in my life will never be filled, not even my wife will ever fill her gap, Pastor Mutebi told the mourners.

Pastor Mutebi reminisced how his departed Mother 52 years ago delivered him in their poor household in Kitezi, Gayaza Road.
I was born in abject poverty and when I got some money, I bought a plot for my Mum and constructed a house for her. I’m glad that she gave her life to Christ in 1989. She has been my last surviving parent because my dad passed away in 1989, my wife too lost all her parents, her dad died during the Luwero Bush war and three years ago we buried her mother, Pastor Mutebi told the Mourners.

The Entebbe Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Rose Tumusiime hailed the deceased for bringing up Pastor Mutebi, a God fearing person who has turned out to be useful to the nation.
We cannot get familiar with death, just two weeks ago I lost my beloved Children Doreen and Patrick but with God’s Grace I’m able to be here with you. We need to praise and thank the lord in all situations because there are those who don’t see their mothers. Mama Dezilanta is in a better place and to Pastor Mutebi let Psalms 46 be your strength, Hon. Rose Tumusiime told the mourners.
Pastor Robert Kayanja hailed Mama Dezilanta for accepting Jesus Christ as her personal lord and savior.
Mama Dezilanta has earned our respect because she made a choice to accept Jesus Christ. To my friend pastor Aaron Mutebi, thank you for being good people and above all for honoring and respecting your mum. You labored so much to save your Mum’s life but God had already called her, Pastor Kayanja said.
The church service was attended by Mayor Kayanja Vincent DePaul and the Kingdom Faith Power Center’s Pastor Charles Kaisaali. The deceased was laid to rest in Kitubulu in Entebbe.
