Outgoing division ‘A’ chairman has fired himself out of office after he lost the recent mayoral race to his rival one Fabrice Rulinda.

Micheal Kabwama Mutebi popularly known as Nyamayalwo  of  the ruling party is shedding crocodile tears after losing the mayoral race with several others including former area parliamentarian Muhammad Kawuma,Ken Simbwa(ANT),Oliva Nassuna(NUP) and incumbent Vicent Kayanja Depaul.

Kabwama also the NRM party spring board lost the mayoral race to NRM party independent  candidate Fabrice Rulinda in a contested mayoral battle.

The NRM party flag bearer protested and rioted on the streets after his rival Fabrice Rulinda was declared winner for the 2021-2026  mayoral race.

Kabwama gathered hundreds of party supporters at the Children’s park and walked  protesting to the streets after his rival Fabrice Rulinda floored him plus  declaring winner by the district electoral commission.

It was too shocking  to declare, Fabrice Rulinda as the winner of the Entebbe mayoral race after the incumbent Mayor Vicent Kayanja Depaul lost the seat in a magical arrangement to put the third runners up in the lead.

In the twist of events the outgoing divisional chief has fired him out of office before the new  incoming divisional female chairman, Jane Baguma Scholastica  steps into office.

Two mayoral aspirants of the ruling party are bitter over each other after their matter getting to the presidential desk.

Fabrice Rulinda and Micheal Kabwama Mutebi were recently invited by the head of state to iron out their paining issue on the contested mayoral elections held  in Entebbe.

The duo were invited with several other members of the ruling party(NRM) to meet president Yoweri Museveni with other invited guests including the Entebbe NRM party chairman Stephen Kabuye.

This was  a turning  point for the duo to speak out their minds despite what went wrong in the heated contest that saw the incumbent Mayor Vicent Kayanja Depaul loose the ball.

The closed door meeting saw one Micheal Kabwama Mutebi Nyamayalwo walk away nodding his head with nothing to do after a  report on the presidential desk pining him down over the recent  protests and street rioting challenging Fabrice Rulinda’s win.

It’s on record that former division ‘A’ mobilized party members to protest on the streets which forced security agents to swing into action and contain the situation before getting out of hand.

NRM party members walked to the streets and burnt yellow t-shirts and posters with the command of Micheal Kabwama Mutebi also the out going Division ‘A’ chairman.

This tainted Kabwama’s name with a report forwarded to the president not to take a second thought over him despite the party squabbles brewing up within the party.

And what is amazing, Kabwama walked from State House heartbroken without requesting the president to offer any job to wash away his tears after all the trash about him.

Our humble prayer would be, let the mayor-elect Fabrice Rulinda and Micheal Kabwama bury their differences for purposes of the ruling party than tiring the party(NRM) into pieces.
