

The Entebbe Municipality Division ‘B’ Boda Boda Association (EDIBBA) Chairman Joseph Saidi Katunguka is one happy fella after surviving being kicked out office during the heated bloody Boda Boda polls that were organized at the Kiwafu play Ground on Wednesday. The humble hardworking man survived being butchered like a cow by his rival Sulaiman Segirinya who was fronted by the opposition Democratic Party. Katunguka won a second term in office after he garnered 294 votes while his rival polled 260 votes. The NRM Leaning man has raised the Boda Boda income collection from zero shillings to Shs 26m ever since he took over office three years ago in and has helped over 100 youth acquire Boda Boda bikes on loans in addition to fighting rampant Boda Boda thefts.
Meanwhile David Kwasibwe was voted Vice Chairman after he walloped Emmanuel Mugabi (NRM). Emmanuel Mugabi was thrown out of office after he polled 262 votes while David Kwasibwe garnered 293 votes. Willy Kisuule was voted Treasurer after he polled 295 votes while Godwin Tumusiime was voted Publicity secretary after he garnered 204 votes. Incumbent Defence head Edward Mukasa (NRM) retained his seat after he pounded Walusimbi Ismail. He polled 431 votes while Walusimbi Ismail polled 134 votes.
