Having hosted Tanzanian star ‘Diamond Platnumz for the meet and greet party, Bbunga based nightlife spot ‘Nomad bar and grill’ is set to fly in Kenya’s female pioneer DJ Pierra Makena for the Ultimate Jiweke saturday hosted by NTV’s MC Esco, DJ Ace, Dj Reeganz and DJ Kerb.
The DJ, an actress and TV host, is expected to thrill revelers on 7th September at the monthly event that will be held as the all ladies affair party, DJ Pierre will be joined by DJ Lola from Uganda, with free entrance, Belaire goes for 300k and Hennessy at 350k.

DJ Pierra Makena was recruited to do odd production jobs on the set of the inaugural season of popular reality music show, Tusker Project Fame. Determined to network with industry bigwigs, she poured herself into her duties and soon enough, climbed through the ranks becoming a camerawoman. The calls she so desperately longed for also started pouring in as the producers of TV drama series Tahidi High contacted her for a role.
DJ Pierra Makena won best supporting actress for her role in When Love Comes Around at the annual Nollywood and African Film Critics awards held in Los Angeles.
