Following roaming bomb threats around the country and the Kampala central business district, security forces have beefed up security.
In a security meeting on Tuesday at the Water front beach, senior security officers warned million of Ugandan including bar managers , hotel owners plus others to be vigilant during this festive season.
In a meeting organized by the Entebbe police community liaison officer, ASP Mwebembezi Gilbert Kags, it was revealed that bars, lodges, hotels plus other places are soft targets of ‘suicide bombers’ this festive season.
Bomb experts have warned that several fabricated explosive accessories are in the making to kill people’s lives during this festive season.
Ekibu Immy also senior bomb expert at Entebbe international Airport exhibited different explosive accessories or gadgets to be used by suicide bombers threatening the country.
“As police &security forces we are mandated to take care of the wanaichi’s security and more so everyone has a role to play in policing”, Bomb squad report.
“I have no mercy with killers or terrorists & we forces are trained to kill and take the killer to heaven or hell”, said Ekibu.
“Never take anything as ordinary & the first person who touches the trigger is the winner in every deadly or gun battle”, commented bomb technicians.
Several explosive accessories including Detonating cord wires and TNT block detonators plus other deadly accessories could be planted anywhere in the country to disrupt the peace and security during the COVID times.
“Never take anything for granted and ordinary coz your best friend, could be your worst enemy after snaking you over the years”, said security report.
Terrorists make great choices for intelligence and surveillance with reference to the Kyadondo bomb incidence where suicide bombers sneaked and injured hundreds of party animals.
“We are here for points on counter terrorism and terrorism is the biggest threat in whole world “ said Mr Owiny also bomb expert.
“ One of the aims of terrorists is to enhance fear in government or other persons with a common vision including the ADF and other external security forces.
“Police details have revealed that starting this weekend, all bars, hotels and lodges to be checked on security details during this festive season” said Entebbe DPC Vicent Erama.
“Terrorism has never gone away from the world and many people take things for granted in this modern world”, revealed security report.
The security meeting was attended by several bar,beach and hotel managers around Entebbe tourism corridor and it a wake up call to safe our people’s lives.
