Two senior top government officers at the Entebbe based National Animal Genetic Resources Centre & Data Bank Offices are battling each other and threatening to squeeze each other’s balls over office space. The duo Dr D.K.N. Semambo and Dr. Wilberforce Kifudde have been fighting each other like cats and dogs for the last couple months after the top senior government line Minister Tress Bucyanayandi intervened into their squabbles.
Last year the senior Agriculture and fisheries minister fired his junior government officer and former NAGRC& DB top boss, D.K.N. Semambo out of office in his written letter dated 05th October 2015. The minister fired the government officer following a bloody meeting with the NAGRC board chairman John Nkuuhe on 19th August 2015 pinning the disgruntled officer over mismanagment of several government programs and projects including the Artificial Breeding Centre in Entebbe. The minister refused and distanced himself from renewing Dr, Semambo’s reappointment over failing several government programs. The minister ordered the knifed Dr. Semambo to vacate the office and hand it over to his junior and newly appointed acting boss, Dr. Wilberforce Kifudde but to make matters worse he has arrogantly refused to honor the minister’s directive to handover office including the offices keys and government official car. The newly appointed NAGRC boss on Monday organized a booze binge to start the new year office calendar although the former boss snubbed the bottle party at the NAGRC head offices.
