The “evil maid” Jolly Tumuhiirwe who is accused of torturing Arnella Kamanzi, the 18-month-old baby has today accepted charges against her.
Tumuhiirwe appeared before City Hall Court in Kampala this morning where she accepted the charges against her.
The court judge said the “evil maid” will be sentenced on Wednesday 17th December 2014.
Tumuhiirwe was captured on CCTV brutalizing and torturing the toddler in Naalya. Appearing before court, the house-maid accused of torturing a toddler pleaded guilty to the charge.
She also asked the child’s parents for forgiveness.
Tumuhiirwe who has been charged with attempted murder has been sent back to Luzira and will appear again on 17th December for sentencing. She is represented by Ladislaus Rwakafuzi a top lawyer.
