LC Councilor Maria Assumpta Nakamya is in the spotlight after battling with the municipal authorities over its decision to erect a huge bill-board in the Children’s park in Entebbe.

The bitter councilor for last two weeks has been in running battles with top authorities after finalizing plans to erect a giant bill-board in the children’s play station located in the heart of the town opposite the division ‘B’ offices headed by Micheal Kabwama.

The municipal authorities including the Mayor Vincent Kayanja and others have been silent and tight lipped after authorizing a private advertising firm to erect a giant bill board in the children’s play area and cracking a juicy deal.

There has been a lot of mixed feelings after the municipal authorities distancing themselves over the giant bill-board was suspended over the weekend after the civil society making noise over the development including the Mayor Vicent Depaul and others.
