An 18 year old man identified as Joshua Akandinda is cursing like hell why he was born to suffer after he was arrested for stealing two Samsung Mobile Phones. The bandit was netted like fish on Tuesday at around 6pm by under-cover police cops in Botanical Gardens where he smartly robbed the two phones from a yet-to be identified owner. The undercover cops netted the crook following several complaints from Botanical Gardens revelers that they were being attacked and robbed by unknown people. After getting the complaints, the undercover cops camped and started snooping around for the goons in Botanical Gardens until when they netted crafty Joshua smartly walking away with the mobile phones. He was arrested and starting to rot inside Entebbe Police cells.
Entebbe CIID Officer Maiko James confirmed the arrest and said that the crook has been charged with theft and being in possession of stolen property under case Ref. SD Ref 63/19/04/2016. Maiko cautioned the public especially women and girls to avoid visiting Botanical Gardens alone. He said that police is tracking down the owners of the phones through the serial numbers. Maiko revealed that the bandit is a resident of Bugonga zone in Entebbe Municipality and is part of a wider criminal gang the “Swagger Attackers” who terrorize the locals day and night.
