Kireka based Joint Anti- Terrorism Task Force (JATT) on Monday recovered a rifle in Kabaale Zone, Abaita Ababiri in Entebbe that belongs to a one notorious criminal Rogers Wasswa that he was allegedly using to terrorize the area and commit acts of robbery and theft. Rogers Wasswa who is currently behind bars in Luzira Prison on murder charges slaughtered his dear wife like chicken a year ago in Mukono where they were residing and relocated to Abaita Ababiri in Entebbe where he was finally nabbed by the Joint Anti-Terrorism Task Force early this year and sent to the maximum prison to spend the rest of his life there. The killer man had also become a headache in the area after residents started complaining that their cocks, hens, Turkeys (‘sekokos’), Radios, TV Sets and car tyres were disappearing mysteriously with no trace.
On a sad and unfortunate note the sex hungry killer had been secretly shafting his neighbor’s babe Martin Tyeka who fell in the trap and sent to the coolers in Luzira Prison over the rifle that was recovered in his one roomed ‘Muzigo’. The notorious thug was shafting the poor man’s babe identified as Mirembe Milly forcing him to abandon his marital home. The poor man returned a few days ago and was nabbed by plain cloth security operatives who found him comfortably sipping his tea after they were tipped off that the rifle had been hidden in his house in a sofa chair. We have highly established that after the notorious thug was sent to the coolers, the babe transferred all his stolen property and hid them in her marital home including the rifle.
Though the JATT Force declined to divulge the type of rifle that was recovered, a second thorough search was conducted on Martin Tyeka’s ‘Muzigo’ on Tuesday June 30, 2015 for more stolen items that could have been hidden by his babe. The operation was led by Deputy AIP Atuheire. C. and other plain clothed security operatives from JATT who brought Martin Tyeka and his estranged wife from Luzira to be present as the search was being conducted. After a 1 hour search of the house, security operatives didn’t find any other suspected stolen items. They later sped off with the two suspects back to Luzira Prison in a black tinted Double Cabin Pick up registration no. UAT 692T and a grey Toyota Premio. The case is registered under Case Reference no. CT/GEF/42/2015. Meanwhile the LCI Chief Samuel Ssekibamu vanished from the scene after the security operatives demanded to interrogate him about the suspects.
