
Residents in Entebbe woke up to the devastating news of the passing on of President Yoweri Museveni’s chief Pilot Capt. Daniel Musinguzi on Thursday morning. Capt. Daniel Musinguzi who passed away at Kampala International Hospital (IHK) had been hospitalized for close to two weeks. Mourners are gathering at his residence along Uringi crescent road in Entebbe for a vigil. The body is expected to arrive on Friday evening and on Tuesday Next week a requiem mass will be held at St. John’s Church and another requiem mass will be held in Hoima. He will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Bulindi Hoima on Wednesday June 17.
Captain Musinguzi was the head of the Presidential Jet Crew.
He has flown Museveni’s helicopter for some time now.
Another pilot flying Museveni’s chopper, Peter Nyakairu, died while flying South Sudan founder, John Garang in 2005.
