Singer Lydia Jazmine has responded to questions about her dating life, revealing that she has chosen to keep it private.
Jazmine described herself as a singer and preacher of love, revealing that she intentionally hid her relationships from the public out of fear of judgment and people being in her private business.
In the era of celebrities coming out and showing off their lovers, she believes such unions are usually sabotaged, with netizens offering plenty of opinions. Jazmine says she preferred her fans to know her for her music, not her personal decisions or life.
“Keeping my love life private is intentional. I would have been all out there, but they say they cannot fight what they have not seen, because how will they know? I find so much peace being there without people knowing my business. I’m here for music, and I want people to know me for music,” Jazmine said.
When asked about her relationship status, Jazmine, who was shying away, revealed that she was just content, happy, and was never pressured to come out to the man she was dating.

“I have never felt any pressure. I’m in the limelight, and if I show off my man, we’ll separate shortly. People will keep counting, yet it is normal even for some, but just because I’m in the limelight, they will judge me. I would rather have that privacy and just see me getting married because I cannot hide that. It is official, but I cannot show off my boyfriend,” Jazmine said.
