
The body of the Late Lydia Migayo’s has arrived from India aboard Emirates Passenger flight number EK 729 at 1430hrs after the flight delayed. The late Lydia Migayo passed away in Fortis Hospital Bangalore India on Wednesday April 8 where she had gone for a brain surgery after suffering from a brain tumor.
A source close to the family revealed that her body will be taken to Mulago Hospital where another postmortem will be done.

“Her body is going to be taken to Mulago Hospital for another postmortem and thereafter we shall go to her residence in Entebbe. We expect to be back in Entebbe at around 6pm” a source close to the family indicated.

“We shall hold prayers today at 7pm and a final service will be held tomorrow at St.John’s church Entebbe at 10pm and thereafter we shall travel directly to Rukungiri district for burial” the source added.

A source close to the family indicated that she developed a lot of pain in one of her arms less than a month ago. She was taken to Emmanuel Medical centre in Entebbe and Norvik hospital for a scan that revealed she had a brain tumor. She had also developed a stroke as a result of the tumor. She travelled to India with her youngest daughter Rachael on April 3.

Late Lydia Migayo is survived by four children, two sons and two girls and her husband Frank Migayo a senior internal auditor in the ministry of finance. Late Lydia Migayo operated a cosmetics shop in Kitoro and was a long time member of St. John’s Church.
Date of Burial will be communicated tomorrow at St. John’s church.
