
Staunch NRM party supporter and mayoral hopeful Micheal Kabwama Mutebi is chasing the cat by the throat with his political ambitions bearing fruit in Entebbe.
This follows an endorsement from the army officers’ wives and spouses to rally behind their own son now counting his eggs in another basket and the next in –coming city governor in 2021. Kabwama Nyama-yalwo also outgoing Division ‘A’ chairperson is building compromise following his humble back ground and struggle to politics.
His political history has attracted the electorates that are now pushing him for the mayoral seat. Three other contestant have already prepared to battle it –out for the mayoral seat and taken on the city lord mayoral seat. The incumbent Mayor Vincent Kayanja of Democratic Party will be racing with former area parliamentarian Muhammad Kawuma (People Power) against two NRM candidates.
Fabrice Rulinda and Micheal Kabwama Mutebi are from the same camp and the party supporters to make their final verdict and choice of preference to serve them diligently. Kabwama is ready to take up the blame game if he enters office and forgets about women empowerment and youth development plus the elderly.
He revealed while meeting the women groups that as ‘we’ smelling the city status, women need special status in the city development and effective representation.
