    Henry Darlington Kabuye says he is living in fear because Mujungu John and Maj. John Kente are threatening him to back off his land.

    Henry Kabuye Darlington, a Senior Operations Officer at Kajjansi Airfield is having sleepless nights and a lot of stress after he accused a one Maj. John Kente attached to the Special Forces Command (SFC) and his accomplice a one John Mujungu of allegedly encroaching on his piece of land located in Bugabo-Bukaya cell, Nalugala ward in Katabi Town Council and demolishing his house that is currently under construction. According to Henry Kabuye, he claims that Maj. John Kente and his accomplice John Mujungu encroached on his plot measuring 100x100X58 in the wee hours of Saturday morning and demolished his house and then vanished into thin air.

    “Absolutely with no doubt it is John Mujungu and Maj. John Kente who are behind the demolition of my house with intentions to scare and intimidate me so as to give up on the plot”, Kabuye Henry asserted.

    According to Henry Kabuye’s land sales agreement, he bought the plot on June 21, 2018 from a one Kansiime Rhoda at Ten Million Shillings (Shs10m) however Maj. John Kente through his agent John Mujungu also claim ownership of the plot and according to Henry Kabuye, Mujungu John and Maj. John Kente claim they bought the piece of land at Shs2billion.

    Henry Kabuye’s house under construction that was allegedly demolished by Mujungu John and Maj. John Kente.

    “In January 2019, as I was proceeding with laying a foundation to start construction of my house, John Mujungu and Maj. John Kente surfaced and also claimed ownership of the land and that is when I started battling with them and a couple of other soldiers from the Special Forces Command (SFC) and Uganda Peoples Defence Airforces (UPDAF)”, claims Henry Kabuye.

    Henry Kabuye claims that on February 21, 2019, John Mujungu together with Police officers at Entebbe Police officers kidnapped him with intent to intimidate and threaten him to back off the land.

    I was kidnapped by John Mujungu together with Police Officers at Entebbe Police Station on February 21, 2019 and the following day I was arraigned before the Entebbe Chief Magistrates Court and charged with threatening violence, I was remanded to Kitala Prisons and on the February 25, 2019, I secured a non-cash bail but I was so surprised to be charged with Threatening Violence because I’ve never threatened Mujungu at any one time. It is absurd that Kawonawo Baker, the DPC Entebbe Division and OC CID Onesmus Mwesigye are aiding John Mujungu and Maj. John Kente to grab my land and I’ve enough evidence to incriminate the land grabbers because they have fake documents, Claimed Kabuye Henry.

    Kabuye added;

    Maj. Kente brought documents purportedly from State House Nakasero directing me to stop construction of the house on the piece of land however I sought intervention from RDC Entebbe Division Noor Njuki whom I pestered to give me a written document to proceed with construction but he only made a verbal communication allowing me to proceed with the construction.

    On the 2nd of April 2019, Henry Kabuye filed a civil suit at the Entebbe Chief Magistrates Court and he is seeking judgment against John Mujungu. Henry Kabuye through his lawyers M/S F. Aogon & Co. Advocates prays that court declares Mujungu John as fraudulently transacting on the piece of land, a declaration that Mujungu John has no recognized interest on the piece of land and that Henry Kabuye is the recognized owner of the land comprised on Busiro Block 435 Plot 25/13. Henry Kabuye is also seeking a declaration that Mujungu John’s continued claim of the right on the land is illegal and unlawful and he (Mujungu John) should be declared as a trespasser and is also seeking general damages and costs.

    Henry Kabuye claims he is in fear because soldiers want him to vacate his land that he legally bought.

    Entebbe RDC Njuki Accused Of Pocketing Shs1million Bribe.

    Henry Kabuye has accused the Entebbe Deputy Resident District Commissioner Hajji Njuki Noor of soliciting for One Million Shillings (Shs1m) from him so as to help him out with the land wrangle.

    “While I was battling Maj. John Kente and his agent Mujungu John I was advised to seek help from RDC Njuki however he asked me to give him one Million Shillings which I paid and hoped that he would help me mediate between myself and John Mujungu over the land wrangle but he only made a verbal communication telling me to proceed with the construction but Mujungu John and Maj. John Kente never stopped encroaching and trespassing on the land”, revealed Henry Kabuye.

    When contacted over the Bribe Allegations, RDC Njuki had this to say;

    Henry Kabuye’s claims that he gave me and Court officials bribes are just baseless allegations and lies aimed at tarnishing both my image and the Entebbe Chief Magistrates Court. Both Henry Kabuye and Mujungu John have had their endless fights over the plot and when Mujungu John ordered for the arrest and imprisonment of Henry Kabuye on threatening violence charges, I personally took the initiative and requested the Entebbe Chief Magistrate to grant him bail which she did and I’ve since abolished Charges of threatening violence, criminal trespass and malicious damage in Entebbe because I realized people were using the three charges to settle their personal differences and intimidate people. From what i have gathered, the bribes he (Kabuye Henry) claims he has paid to different officials are so much compared to the value of the land and he keeps contradicting himself. However, if Henry Kabuye doesn’t stop tarnishing my name I’ll take further action.

    Efforts to get a comment from Kansiime Rhoda have proved futile because her known mobile Phone number cannot be reached.
