Jamaican Reggae Star Christopher Martins is cursing like hell after his two music concerts flopped badly over the weekend. The ‘cheaters prayer’ hit-maker arrived in the country on Friday Morning at 1210am aboard BA063 from London Heathrow for two music concerts in Uganda. The musical concerts were scheduled to take place at both Freedom City and Entebbe Aero beach respectivelty. But to make matter worse all the concerts flopped badly with lukewarm reception. The Freedom city concert flopped as it rained heavily on Friday evening, people preferred to keep indoors than attend the concert while the aero beach concert entry fee was at Shs.15,000, according to some revelers who spoke to entebbenews said that the amount was high and therefore they couldn’t afford it. “Such concerts are for teenagers when you charge 15K it becomes impossible for them to attend as they can’t raise such a high amount”. A reveller who had paid to attend the aero beach concert said. exorbitantly for poor man’s pocket. According to Entebbenews cops they revealed that teens preferred to go to Lido beach which charges a much affordable friendly amount.
Mean while Entebbenews has established that One Nation Entertainment organizers, an event and promotions company that organized Chris Martin’s concert have been arrested by police as they attempted to flee aero beach without paying aero beach bosses their share.
When the organizers realised that the concert had flopped they attempted to sneak out of aero beach stealthily but police was tipped off and they were arrested. One top events an events management company that was hired to organize and assemble the music system and stage are regretting why they accepted the deal, according to a one top events staff who spoke to entebbenews said that out of the Shs. 6 million that they were supposed to be paid, they haven’t received even a single coin while aero beach demands a whopping Shs. 15m and Freedom city Shs.30m.
Speaking to Entebbenews shortly after the arrival of Chris Martin at Entebbe Airport David Kibuuka the One Nations Entertainment boss said that he got in touch with Balaam an expert at organizing music concerts but he later pulled out three weeks to the concerts. “Balaam pulled out including airtel and Nile breweries that he had brought on board, he advised me to call off the concerts but I couldn’t”. Kibuuka said.
Radio City and Movit came in at the last minute to sponsor the concerts
Kibuuka also dismissed Suudi and said that he was above him at organizing concerts. “Who is Suudi? He asked. “Man,we organize international concerts and we are above Suudi” he said.
