Hon. Rose Tumusiime has cracked a Boda Boda deal with a city based company identified as Mahindra Miracle Motors Limited. On Monday two officials from the motor company and post Bank met over 30 Boda Boda riders and the Entebbe Municipality Division ‘B’ Boda Boda Chairman Joseph Katunguka in a meeting to crack the deal. All the interested Boda Boda riders will have to part with Eight Hundred Shillings (Shs800,000) and will have to pay Shs65,000 every week for 18 months to complete the Shs3,909,000 loan facility from Post Bank. The officials from the Miracle motors company also advised the Boda Boda riders to present a valid driving permit, four pass photographs, Tax Identification Number (TIN no.) and LCI Letter before they can acquire the motorbikes that are covered with Insurance and Third Party. The successful Boda Boda riders will get one helmet free of charge. The meeting was attended by Hon. Tumusiime’s personal Assistant George Ntonganyi who revealed that Hon. Tumusiime has partnered with Mahindra Miracle Motors in the city to enable the Boda Boda Riders acquire Motorbikes at Subsidized prices. The officials also revealed that Mahindra Miracle Motors will start a service centre in Entebbe.
