Works State Minister Gen. Katumba Wamala has warned Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) against Entebbe International Airport expansion project delays. Gen. Katumba who on Monday was on a familiarization tour of the different projects that CAA has undertaken at Entebbe International Airport urged all the contractors to ensure timely delivery of the projects. Gen. Katumba was accompanied by the Transport State Minister Hon. Aggrey Bagiire and both were impressed by the newly installed state of the Art Baggage Handling system. Both ministers inspected the ongoing passenger terminal and cargo centre expansion works.
Gen. Katumba hailed Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for the progress on the projects and called for cooperation with the different Entebbe Airport stakeholders to ensure that Uganda achieves the middle income status target and Vision 2040.
