The former Makindye East Member of Parliament, Hussein Kyanjo has thanked the medics and management of Entebbe Referral Hospital for handling his case when he was admitted at the facility’s COVID-19 section.

Hon. Kyanjo in a brief text said he spent ten days at the hospital and experienced highly professional medical care from the nurses, doctors and support staff who attended to him.

“This is to express my gratitude to the highly professional handling and care that I was given by the doctors, nurses and other support staff of Entebbe Referral Hospital Covid section for the whole 10 days I spent at the facility,” said Kyanjo.

Kyanjo is now among the 5,457 people who successfully recovered from COVID-19 after getting medical management from hospitals in the country.

Kyanjo noted that the medics deserve credit and are responsible for the over 99% recoveries.

“If you have never had anybody thanking you I am here to do it and do it on purpose. Please share this message with all on your team,” said Kyanjo.

Only 84 fatalities have been registered out of the 9,082 cumulative confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country since March 2020.

Ministry of Health quickly boosted capacity of regional referrals to handle the contagious disease early this year when the cases started rising.
