The former municipality boss has been implicated in a fishy deal of grabbing the once government owned land next the Nakiwogo landing site.

We have highly established that the former government officer has given an ultimatum to the youth that have been using the controversial land for all these years ever since he left office.

Inside sources have indicated that the former town boss is using one Ivan Nsibambi to evict them from the government ‘abandoned’ land next to the Banga beach at the Lake Victoria shore line.

The youth have put forward their complaint to the local authorities including   Mayor Vicent Kayanja Depaul and the environmental officer Mr. Samson Semakula  to intervene.

“It’s not  clear how former mayor Stephen Kabuye acquired the land before vacating office and how the youth started using the claimed government owned land” said a complainant.

“The municipal authorities have visited the controversial land earlier before and promised to iron-out the mess with lots of running queries over the claimed government land” said youth.

“It’s on record that during former mayor Kabuye’s regime, there were lots of  land wrangles with lots of government lands sold to private developers and businessmen”, whistle blower’s report.

It has been documented that during Mayor Kayanja’s time, a lot of government land has been saved from land grabbers with a few questions on some land, municipal report.

We have highly established that the municipal authorities are questioning the land transaction including the Enviromental Impact Assessment(EIA) certificate plus land agreements.
