It was mad and bloody across the lake in Kasenje town council when Tycoon Semugooma John Kaggwa organized a graduation party over the weekend.
The Semugooma ‘man’ left the whole village bleaching after his daughter Namugonda Annet graduating at Kyambogo university with bachelor’s in Education.
The colorful ceremony was organized at St John Paul Secondary School, Gayaza village and attended by hundreds of invited guests including the chief guest Yasin Katwere Ddungu and friends.
The colorful ceremony started with church mass presided by Fr. Mirundi Julius Benzo of Buyege parish, Kasenje town council.
“We have started seeing the fruits from the Semugooma family and we are convinced that the Namugonda will spin the education ball high in the school that has been started by his daddy”, said LC 1 deputy chairman Kityo Benard Ssewanyana.
“Education is beyond wealth, so if you get education then everything becomes simpler in life”said chief guest Katwere also Success Motors CEO.
“To be great is the ability to influence others and to be successful is to have what you in life”, said Mr Katwere.
“She has not disappointed me after paying whole the paining school dues plus fees”, said Mzee Semugooma .
She couldn’t believe her eyes the first day Kyambogo and how she reached there was a miracle on earth, said Namugonda.
“My parents have been there for me and I have not disappointed them, they have facilitated me from day one to date and given me everything”, said graduate.
The day was spiced up with lots of musical performances from different singers and dancers including Young talented performers, Young cash entertainment,Lobitwin plus others musical groups.
“It hasn’t been a smooth ride for Namugonda but the lord has helped us to use the little resources amidst us”,said Semugooma.
There were lots of eats and drinks to quench down your thirst and wash down your throats till the break of day.
