According to Dr. Benon the oral HIV self testing kit aims at empowering individuals to manage their own lives because the HIV test is simple and easy and only lasts 20minutes. The latest oral HIV self testing kit is meant to enhance the prevention of the spread of HIV/AIDS by giving individuals the powers to test themselves before engaging in sex related activities. The USA manufactured HIV self testing kit is available at the centre for Private Health and Social Adjustment at Thirty Thousand Shillings (Shs30,000).
