Former parliamentary aspirant Alex Gitta Mulibanga is back into the political spot light after several years of silence since 2016.
The parliamentary hopeful has step-down for the divisional seat to step the ladders again from nursery to 
university.
Gitta participated with political giants in the previous parliamentary elections on the FDC ticket with several other candidates including Hon Rosemary Tumusiime Bikaako, Micheal Kakembo Mbwatekamwa, Patience Mubangizi, Madina Zalwango, Peace Salamuka, Abubaker Walusimbi plus others.
It’s now official the former parliamentary contestant has switched goal posts from the Najanakumbi based FDC party to presidential hopeful Mugisha Muntu’s Alliance party.
In the coming scientific general elections, Gitta Alex will be battling several others including FDC front liner Patrick Gyagenda, Christopher Sebuliba(NRM) and Clemence Sentabire(NRM) for the division ‘B’ seat.
The seat has been occupied by outgoing democrat Stanley Namayirira whose political ambition where watered down by his close rivals to front out going Deputy Mayor Richard Sekyondo also from the democratic party.
Christopher Sebuliba has previously worked in several offices including promoting the Buganda tourism heritage and formerly a councilor.
Sentabire Clemence has previously participated in the local politics including councillorship at the municipal level. She’s the proprietor of the Capital Caves.
Gitta Alex has documented his political profile from being a sports icon to legislator, he takes the lead in the race with others.
