Former parliamentary aspirant has lost hope in politics and started selling all her office accessories including the 40ft metallic office container she has been occupying in the heart of the town in Entebbe.
Patience Mubangizi lost the parliamentary primaries in which she contested with several others including Rosemary Tumusiime Bikaako and Stephen Shyka Gashaija.
Mubangizi has pulled out of the political murky waters and carried all his office belongings including his 40ft metallic container that was positioned at the Works play ground in Entebbe town.
The staunch NRM party diehard has been struggling to head to parliament but insiders have frustrated her political ambitions.
Mubangizi participated in the recently concluded party primaries and lost the flag to city businessman Stephen Shyka Gashaija.
In 2010, Mubangizi contested against other candidates including Muhammad Kawuma (DP)Amon Reeves Muzoora(RIP), Christopher Sebuliba, Charles Kirumira, Sumaya Nakanwagi and lost the political grip
And in the twist of events, the chosen NRM party candidate lost the parliamentary race to former democrat Micheal Kakembo Mbwatekamwa now the leading commander for the National Unity Platform under the flagship of former presidential aspirant Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu populary known as Bobby wine.
The ruling party lost the 2020/2026 parliamentary seat following an in house fighting that saw top party bosses stepping down from office including the NRM party secretary general Tamuzadde Senfuka.
The secretary general walked of office after party members squeezing his ‘balls’ over taking sides in support of Hon Rosemary Tumusiime and Fabrice Rulinda for different political offices.
