After battling diabetes and high blood pressure for close to three decades, Joash Kahangirwe, a former commissioner in the Ministry of Finance and planning and a resident of Kiwafu Central, Division ‘B’ in Entebbe Municipality succumbed to the illnesses and on Sunday he breathed his last at Kisubi Hospital.

Joy Kahangirwe described her late husband as a very wonderful person who always loved her.

“My Late husband was such a romantic man; he took me to Sheraton Hotel back in the days when he was dating me. He took me to driving school and always bought very expensive dresses for me. We got married in 1973 and though there have been ups and downs in our marriage, I’m grateful to God that we have been together for 44 years until when he died. He was such a knowledgeable man who loved to read news papers”, Joy Kahangirwe told mourners who converged in St. John’s Church to bid farewell to Joash Kahangirwe.
