Former Entebbe Municipality Deputy Resident District Commissioner Faith Rwehunga breathed her last at 2am on Thursday in Mengo Hospital where she had been hospitalized for close to two weeks. The late Rwehunga who passed on aged 59 years served as the Entebbe Municipality Assistant District Administrator (DA) as they were known back then in the early years of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Government. She also served in different capacities in the president’s office and security Ministry. At the time of her death, the Late Faith Rwehunga was serving in the Patriotism Secretariat.
The late Faith Rwehunga will be laid to rest at her ancestral home in Kabale District on Sunday. The late Rwehunga lived a very quiet life at her residence located along Basudde rise in Entebbe Municipality. She is survived by a child.
One of the family members indicated that the exact cause of death will be established after a postmortem has been done.
