Detective ASP-Fredrick Wilson Mutono, the officer in charge of Homicide at Entebbe police station last weekend splashed Shs 30m to wed Judith Kohumuro the daughter of Bunyoro Kitara premier, Rev Prof. Jackson Kasozi.
The police boss who has led a celibate life style ever since he joined police in 2010 has decided to quit bachelorhood and walked down the aisle with waterlogged Judith Kohumuro.
Mutono an accountant by profession made vows before the congregation at Stephen Church of Uganda Kisugu-Kampala Diocese and promised to live together with his bonk mate in bad and good times till death does them apart and likewise his wife.
The couple later wore each other wedding rings before signing a marriage certificate before the parish priest.
The couple later led the invited guests to a reception at Peace Cottages in Bwoyogerere/Kireka zone where they served them with lots of food plus drinks.
The wedding ceremony attracted a number of high profile personnel and senior police officers. They include Justice Steven Musota (Kampala High court Judge), Bernard Mulengani (MP EALA), Juliana Nyombi (Deputy Director TASO), Christopher Musasizi (UCU varsity don), Charles Ivaibi(Principal Human Resource officer-Namutumba District), Pr. Freda Serwadda (Victory Christian Church-Ndeeba), Ngobi Lwigo (Head police economic crimes Kibuli CIID Headquarters), Ivan Kyazze (State Attorney), Eunice Mbaine (State Attorney), and Lilian Nakigyo (sword bearer) among others
Meanwhile after the wedding ceremony, the following day the couple went for their honey moon in Mombasa and later proceeded to Zanzibar-Tanzania where they spent a couple of days bonking senselessly.
