Entebbe Municipality Mayor Goes Begging For Court Battle

"Kayanja is having sleepless nights after dragging his rival to courts of law&seeking for justice"

Outgoing Mayor Vincent Kayanja Depaul is having sleepless nights and headache with paining head after losing the mayoral seat in Entebbe.

The Democratic Party top honcho is having sleepless nights after losing the mayoral race to one Fabrice Brad Rulinda a couple of months ago in heated election.

The town boss has started walking door to door begging to fund-raise for his court battle with his rival Fabrice Rulinda also independent NRM blood.

Kayanja lost the mayoral seat on the  last minute drive to his rival after earlier results putting  him in the lead with 5672 votes against Rulinda’s results.

And in the twist of events,Fabrice Rulinda scooped 2825 votes was declared winner in the contested mayoral election that saw ruling party candidate Micheal Kabwama Mutebi scoring  5257 votes where seven other candidates participated including Nassuna Oliver(NUP) with  2623 votes, former parliamentarian Kawuma Muhammad  550 votes, Ssimbwa Kenneth(ANT) 47votes, Muwonge Gerald(IND) 6 votes and invalid  166 votes.

Kayanja is shedding crocodile tears after losing the mayoral race in a magical event to his rival Fabrice Rulinda now waiting for swearing ceremony.

The final results were announced by the Wakiso district electoral commission returning officer, Tolbert following a heated   election a couple of months ago.

In the fight for office, outgoing mayor Kayanja is calling on the public including friends and corporate companies  to bail him  financially in the struggle to “throw out” mayoral elect Fabrice Rulinda before the swearing event  months away.

This is a titanic war as outgoing mayor has to prove to the electorates after losing the mayoral race  earlier this year in  January 2021.Watch the space!!
