Parliamentary hopeful Joyce Namuli Nabatta is one of the female political candidates contesting for the parliamentary race in Entebbe.
In a recent interview, Nabatta revealed that her dream is to advocate for the girl child and also start a cooperative society for the Entebbe municipality. In her manifesto, she has listed the following matters to be tackled on and these include youth unemployment, talent development, single mothers plus others.
Nabatta also founding member of the Katabi Busambaga based Single Mothers Association is dedicated to support different political ideologies for effective representation. “Am capable of lobbying for both the women and men including the youth” She said.
And on health, “she said that Katabi sub ward needs a hospital to reduce on the congestion in Entebbe hospital”.
Nabatta studied from St Thereza primary before joining Entebbe Secondary School for O’level.She then switched to Entebbe Parents Secondary School for A’level and later to Kyambogo University. She holds a bachelors in Accounting& Finance
She has previously worked with different organizations including the Entebbe Cooperative Society and former UTODA as a senior manager.
Nabatta will be contesting with several others including FDC Abubaker Walusimbi and NRM party flag bearer Stephen Shyka Gashaija in next year’s general scientific elections.
