Over 600 disgruntled and frustrated Boda Boda riders in Entebbe Municipality Division A are plotting to throw out their chairman identified as Kizito Constantine whom they have accused of turning into a serial dictator. In a meeting that was held on Friday at the Children’s Park, the disgruntled Boda Boda riders accused Kizito Constantine of forging his own constitution to keep himself in office and to make matters worse, the Boda Boda riders accused him of overstaying in office for close to 20 years without organizing any single elections.
“Imagine, as Division A Boda Boda riders we don’t have an official account where money is deposited and Chairman Kizito Constantine has vehemently refused to give us accountability of all the cash that he receives. The money ends up in his own pocket. We are fed up of him and we want him out office as soon as possible. Besides being the Chairman, he is the treasurer and secretary, basically he is everything. We also want to be like our counter parts in Division B who organize elections periodically”, the Boda Boda riders revealed.
The Boda Boda riders have also accused the Entebbe Division A Chairman Mutebi Michael, Mayor Kayanja, RDC Njuki of siding with Kizito Constantine and not listening to their grievances.
“Many times we have taken our grievances to Chairman Mutebi Michael, Mayor Kayanja, and RDC Njuki but they seem not to be interested in helping solve our problems. They keep dodging us, we suspect they are siding with Kizito Constantine. We are tired of the Chairman and we are currently amending the entire constitution”, the Boda Boda riders disclosed.
The meeting to throw out Chairman Kizito Constantine was organized by a one Masasi William, Turyasiime Aloysious and a one Bogere.
