    Entebbe Airport Staff Urged On Quality Customer Service.

    As Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) looks forward to increasing the number of travelling passengers at Entebbe International Airport, Entebbe Airport Staff have been urged to improve on the customer service culture so as to give passengers excellent customer service.

    Speaking during the closure of the one-week customer service training for Entebbe Airport Stakeholders, Chris Muhango, a customer service consultant revealed that the training was aimed at equipping all Entebbe International Airport Staff with equal skills with an objective of ensuring that they handle customers with excellent customer service.

    “The objective of the customer service training is to ensure that Entebbe International Airport Staff get equal skills so that they handle customers with excellent customer service from the point the passenger arrives at Entebbe Airport up to when the passenger leaves the Airport,” revealed Chris Muhango.

    Entebbe Airport Staff need to give a customer service that is uniform, professional, and exciting with an objective of understanding who a customer is, their needs and wants and also avoid unprofessional acts and behaviours, being helpful to passengers, assisting them, following them up after the experience at the Airport to make sure they are happy and excited.

    Meanwhile, the UCAA Director Airports and Aviation Security, Eng. Ayub Sooma revealed that the customer service charter Entebbe International Airport intends to deploy is a commitment to all Entebbe Airport Staff as a team to deliver high-quality customer service and create excellent relations with our customers and give the necessary feedback that will help to improve service aimed at achieving the One Airport, One Team Slogan.

    On his part, the UCAA Director-General, Fred Bamwesigye, revealed that the training was aimed at equipping Entebbe Airport Staff with customer service skills so as to handle passengers with excellent customer service.

    The training was aimed at equipping Entebbe Airport Staff with customer service skills emphasizing customer care for passengers with a goal of ensuring that passengers get a good experience while at Entebbe International Airport. We (UCAA) are also want to introduce a marketing and customer service unit at Entebbe International Airport which will be tasked to build a customer service plan which will focus on customer service with a goal of having regular training for all Entebbe Airport Staff,” revealed Bamwesigye.
