Entebbe International Airport Clearing Agents have been smiling from ear to ear and thanking God for the last few days after they finally got rid of their association Boss a one Herbert Mutungi whom they claim was harassing and denying them a chance to earn their daily bread at Uganda’s only Airport. The clearing agents who were in high spirit threw a drink party and boozed like crazy in addition to crushing several sticks of meat at the popular Club Jakers Bar on Saturday to celebrate Mutungi’s downfall after serving for only three months in office. The angry fellas who sent Mutungi packing threw him out after he accused them of leading theft rackets and harboring terrorists at the Airport. The agents who have since appointed Master International Cargo Clearing and S&S Boss Cuthbert Muwanguzi as their interim chairman are confident he will champion their rights.
Some of the agents who spoke to entebbenews on condition of anonymity indicated that they will soon hold secret meetings to form a task force that will be camping in Mbarara to ensure that Mutungi isn’t elected as the municipality’s LCV Chairman in next year’s general elections.
