Musician Eighton Sente, the other half of the Eighton & Rain duo, has publicly asked Bebe Cool for financial support, citing the lavish lifestyle he lives off social media.
Eighton, during his interview with Spark TV, was asked if he was on good terms with Bebe Cool, his former boss. He revealed that he saw him on social media, just like everybody else, living his best life, before asking him for financial help, saying that he was not well.
“I just saw him on social media, he is living his best life. Please tell the Gagamel Boss to give me some money; he still has my number. I’m not well,” he said.
The duo was once signed under Gagamel International, and Bebe Cool used them to fight his music battles with fellow artists like Bobi Wine and Radio & Weasel then. They, however, decided to walk away after Bebe Cool allegedly gave them 500K for their much-anticipated New Year’s show after a week of hard work. Eighton revealed that this pushed them to take the bold step of pursuing their solo careers.
Speaking about his split with Rain, Eighton revealed they parted ways over irreconcilable differences and could not get back together because they had now outgrown being a duo.

“I was with Rain when we were still younger. Right now, we are big men and a lot has changed. We got to a point and separated but nothing much happened. Duo is possible when you are still younger but when you grow up, you split. If P-Square, the twins that came from the same womb cannot work together, how about us. When you make a duo, you become one person which is not easy because everyone has their own interests,” he said.
Eighton further made it known that he was still doing music as a solo artist, performing, producing, and writing songs.
