Jinja Chief Magistrate has issued an order to Nalufenya Police station to unconditionally release Kampala Mayor Aspirant Hon Nabilah Nagayi Sempala and 9 others who were arrested last week while demanding for the release of release of NUP Presidential flag bearer Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.
Nabilah’s co-accused include among others Kawooya Yusuf, Ssemanda Ibrah, Dr Muwonge Anthony, Mugwanya Ashraf and Maliro Charles.
This order was issued by Her worship Kyomuhangi Happy Anne.
“It’s hereby ordered as follows; The applicants currently held at Nalufenya Police Post, be unconditionally released from Police custody forthwith or charged before court of law.”
This the court proceeded ex parte after the Attorney general failed to send a representative despite the fact that he was served.
