Singer, UNMF President, and Big Talent boss Eddy Kenzo has addressed the ongoing dispute between Bebe Cool and Gravity Omutujju, emphasizing that everyone with an agreement had the right to claim their pay.
Eddy Kenzo was the major link between the musicians and the president during the NRM presidential campaigns until Bebe Cool broke away, forming his own group and recruiting his own set of artists to follow him during the presidential trail.
Speaking during an interview, Eddy Kenzo backed Gravity’s pursuit of his money on condition that he had his signed contract.
“If he has a contract, then that is it. The contract will settle it all. Anyone with an agreement is allowed to claim, and anything verbal is not binding,” he said.
Eddy Kenzo revealed that all the artists he moved with under him were fully paid, and for the job well done, he was open to giving them a token of appreciation as long as the president signed it.

“All the artists I moved around with during campaigns are very okay. We sat down and agreed, and they got all their money. For my artists, unless they are looking for an appreciation token. They outdid themselves, and I know everyone saw us. We are not even bragging, but we did well. God willing, if our president is done swearing in and one day he decides to appreciate our work, we will be so happy. Otherwise, we do not have any problem with him,” he said.

Eddy Kenzo’s revelation follows days of rants on social media, in which Gravity Omutujju accused Bebe Cool of nonpayment. The rapper who was part of Bebe Cool’s team at the recently concluded NRM election campaigns claimed that he had not been paid and demanded over 400 million.
At one point, he revealed that he would be going to court to file his case, and in his defense, Bebe Cool advised that he exercise patience as the funds had not been released yet.
